Meet the team.....
Caroline - Designated Safeguarding Lead
Caroline is our Manager and has Qualified Early Years Teacher status. She has been managing Cheeky Chimps for ten years and loves every minute. Caroline is passionate about providing a happy, fun, enriching, exciting setting for the children, families and staff that attend.

Julie
Julie is our Deputy and Senco and has been involved with Cheeky Chimps since 2002 as a committee member and then as a member of staff after completing level 3 in 2010 in Childcare. Julie has since completed her level 5 in childcare in November 2020. She believes in children learning through play and having the opportunity to overcome challenges through critical thinking and most importantly having fun!

Hannah
Hannah is our Deputy Manager and joined the team in September 2018. She has a BA Hons Degree in English Language and Early Childhood Studies. Hannah has a passion for working with children and loves to get very messy, creative and make crafts with them. Hannah loves to work with our two year olds and is great at telling stories to them and singing nursery rhymes.
Hannah has 6 children who keep her very busy at home.

Joanne
Jo is a qualified Early Years Teacher and has a love of outdoor learning, getting messy and stuck into some serious playing. Jo is also our Treasurer on our Committee and has played a big part in recent renovations at Cheeky Chimps.
Leanne
Leanne started working at Cheeky Chimps in 2014. She mainly works with our Butterfly group but like to have lots of fun with all of the children. Leanne has a love for reading stories and getting the children excited and involved.

Rachael
Rachael joined the team in December 2020. Rachel is a busy mum of 3 and loves to work with the preschool children. You will often find Rachael reading stories and getting creative.
Lottie
Lottie very successfully qualified as a Level Child Care practitioner in 2025. Lottie attended Cheeky Chimps as a child and has always wanted to pursue a role in a childcare setting. She loves all the children and has the best time with them on all sorts of adventures!
Melissa
Melissa joined us in March 2024 and has fully embraced and is thoroughly enjoying her role. She loves the outdoors and is qualified in Forest School. Melissa loves to exercise and you can often find her on walks with her dog!
