Caroline - Designated Safeguarding Lead
Caroline is our Manager and the Qualified Early Years Teacher for Cheeky Chimps. With eighteen years of experience. She has developed a passion for play and providing an enabling environment where children have the opportunity to flourish through building on their own experiences and interests. Caroline is a Mum of two keen footballers boys who keep her on her toes at all time!

Hannah
Hannah is our Deputy Manager and joined the team in September 2018. She has a BA Hons Degree in English Language and Early Childhood Studies. Hannah has a passion for working with children and loves to get very messy, creative and make crafts with them. Hannah loves to work with our two year olds and is great at telling stories to them and singing nursery rhymes.
Hannah has 5 children who keep her very busy at home.

Julie
Julie is our Deputy and Senco and has been involved with Cheeky Chimps since 2002 as a committee member and then as a member of staff after completing level 3 in 2010 in Childcare. Julie has since completed her level 5 in childcare in November 2020. She believes in children learning through play and having the opportunity to overcome challenges through critical thinking and most importantly having fun! Julie has 2 teenage boys who keep her very busy!

Joanne
Jo is a qualified Early Years Teacher and has a love of outdoor learning, getting messy and stuck into some serious playing. Jo is also our Treasurer on our Committee and has played a big part in recent renovations at Cheeky Chimps.

Leanne
Leanne is our lion group keyworker. She particularly enjoys working with our two years and is fantastic at telling stories! She has two young daughters whom she loves to spend time cooking with.

Rachael
Rachael joined the team in December 2020. Rachel is a busy mum of 3 and loves to work with the preschool children. You will often find Rachael reading stories and getting creative.
Paula
Paula is on our bank staff list and often helps us out when needed in pre school. She also works in our After School Club. Paula can turn her hand to most things but excels in cake decoration which the children love to do with her.
Lottie
Lottie is currently completing her Level 3 childcare with us. Lottie attended Cheeky Chimps as a child and has always wanted to pursue a role in a childcare setting. She loves all the children and has the best time with them on all sorts of adventures!
Melissa
Melissa joined us in March 2024 and has fully embraced and is thoroughly enjoying her role. She loves the outdoors and is qualified in Forest School. Melissa loves to exercise and you can often find her on walks with her dog!
